All about me!!
I have a confession, try not to laugh. I am an ex Hoarder. This is not something my clients at first believe, but it is the truth - photos supplied on demand!
On my first day of university my rather stressed out father claimed that it was the worst day of his life! This is of course NOT due to losing his only daughter to the perils of university living but to having to transport my wonderful treasures in not only a very full car (imagine my face pressed up to the glass and sitting on a quilt!) but also the fact we had to take a trailer with us to transport the stuff!
Indeed I was rather successful at hoarding and would probably have achieved many awards in it if it wasn’t for a short stint of my life living in a bedsit. I decided that I had 2 choices, live with the clutter or simplify. Of course I chose the latter and now de-cluttering is a passion. It is bordering on an obsession too. Actually I was amazed at how much room could be created in such a small space – again photos supplied on demand! Hence I started my own business when our previous flat resembled the Fosters advert - remember ? The one with the man who had everything removed from his flat, apart from his can of fosters?
My Prince Charming kindly pointed out that perhaps others might benefit from my abundant energy. Thus Declutter and Detox was born.
My background is 12 years of successful teaching experience in both the primary and secondary sector . I am a Master Practitioner of NLP. I hold an 'Enhanced Disclosure' CRB certificate.
I am vegetarian and tee total, I love travel, the sun (weird really that I live in the UK) feng shui, running, photography, afternoon tea, spa days, reading and of course The Twilight Saga as a hopeless romantic I find it hard to resist! I have walked on fire, broken arrows and partook in bar bending all in the name of Self Development.
